  • The Boston Celtics game against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday, January 12th has now been postponed after yesterday’s contest with the Miami Heat was as well — both out of concerns for COVID-19 safety, per multiple sources.
  • With a number of players on the Celtics either put into quarantine (Robert Williams III, Jayson Tatum) or in the NBA’s health and safety protocol for precautionary measures (Grant Williams, Tristan Thompson, Semi Ojeleye, Jaylen Brown, Javonte Green), it seems evident at least one more player has joined their ranks, given the Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach reports it is the Celtics who will not have eight available players.
